The best spiritual instruction is to wake up in the morning and say, “I wonder what's going to happen today.” —Pema Chodron

Last May Service
Only 4 Services Left of the Church Year!
You read that right, folks! We are in the single-digit numbers of how many services are left. The last service of the year is on Sunday, June 21. We will be back to a normal schedule on September 13, 2026.
But, we want to keep the momentum going! Are you interested in leading a discussion group, book club, hosting a dinner at the church, or offering lessons in a craft? Let's stick together this summer. All ideas are welcome!
Please email admin@uunewbedford.org with any ideas you may have.
Your FY26 Pledge & FY27 Letters
The end of FY26 is quickly approaching. Please make sure any amount owed on your pledge is paid by June 30, 2026.
FY27 letters will be hitting mailboxes soon. Your pledge helps us in several ways:
Pledged income provided stability and predictability, allowing us to better manage our finances and allocate resources where they are needed most, whether it's supporting our ministries, maintaining our facility, or investing in outreach efforts.
Contributions play a vital role in enabling us to carry out our programs, hire guest speakers and musicians for Sunday Service, and support our staff and volunteers.
If you would like to set up a recurring gift online, you can do so below.

Jazz Concert, June 28
We need organizers and planners for food. Are we doing a bake sale? Providing sandwiches? Providing drinks? We need one person to be the point of contact and main organizer of food.
Volunteers to help with gift baskets and selling raffle tickets.

What does it mean to be a people of Awakening Curiosity?
May 31: A Bridge to the World of Our Future Selves
Lastly, we’re exploring how curiosity is a bridge to the world of our future-self. As we do this, we will dive into the idea that what we are curious about as a child almost always shapes who we are as we grow up, and especially what we are passionate about as we get older.
Last week at Sunday School, the children talked about how building bridges is better than building walls. The children were offered lots of different materials and invited to create a bridge. Here is "Heart Bridge" by Aurora, age three.

Please share these events with your family and friends, and consider attending yourself. We would love to see you!

"We envision a congregation in which we practice the principles of our faith. We seek to enjoy peaceful reflection and inspiration in intellectually and spiritually satisfying church services. We aim to embrace the people and efforts of our church community by supporting our children and their programs, our committees and their goals, our staff and their efforts on our behalf, and each other."
