A very exciting Climate Justice Revival is sweeping the UU world this September and we’re going to be part of it. On September 28-29, we will host UU Climate Justice Revivals to collectively reimagine a spirit-filled and liberatory future. Through conversations, worship, and advocacy, congregations will work together to realize climate justice and collective liberation in our communities. On Saturday, we'll engage in transformative discussions and activities for children and youth. Sunday, our worship will be focused on climate justice. Following worship we'll engage in an advocacy hour in solidarity with other UU congregations around the country. Join us for conversations, worship, advocacy, and two spirit-filled days.
Over the next few weeks, we will share videos and articles with you to get you prepared for the discussion. Please RSVP using the link below to let us know you will be attending. Snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided.
This is the first in a series of videos exploring Climate at the intersections of other justice issues. In this, we have UUA Climate Justice Strategist Rachel Myslivy and UUA Director of Organizing Strategy Team Nicole Pressley exploring how climate is an intersectional justice issue. This overview articulates Side With Love's commitment to liberation and liberatory love. Learn more about our climate justice work at sidewithlove.org/climatejustice.
