Our Thrift Shop is a mission of First Unitarian to assist our community in receiving good quality household goods and clothing at the lowest possible prices, and often for free to those in need. The Thrift Shop was created by long time member Lorial Laughery-Wiencek, who, sadly, passed away last year. Her vision is continued through the work of our dedicated volunteers, Bill Bennett, Larry Jaquith and Donald Blier.
The Thrift Shop is open Wednesday mornings from 9:30am-1:00pm and Saturday mornings from 10:00am-2:00pm. It is located in the basement of the church and accessed by Eighth Street. Unfortunately, it is not handicapped accessible. We accept and greatly appreciate donations of good quality clothing and household items.

Another new and exciting feature of the Thrift Shop is the “Back Room Boutique”! The Backroom Boutique, compliment to the Thrift Shop, offers a wide range of antiques, paintings, tin toys, Depression Glass, milk glass, silver and furniture. Come and enter the world of past eras with very usable items for today. Dealers welcome!
