The mission of the "Classical Music Series at First Unitarian" is to promote classical music performance and appreciation in South Coastal Massachusetts, through monthly free concerts. We host performances by solo musicians and small groups, and in so doing we aim to complement offerings of established organizations such as the Concerts at the Point, and South Coast Chamber Music Society. Our concerts reach out to the community with concerts by professional musicians and occasional concerts by talented young musicians. Inquiries may be sent to Classical Music Series, First Unitarian, 71 8th St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
